Cindy's background is in marine geology (igneous petrology), winding through Earth remote sensing and earth observation. She describes the Earth through images taken from the International Space Station, including cities at night and volcanoes before and after explotions (i.e., Mt. Pinatubo). Cindy is now researching in the astromaterials curation office at NASA.
