A COUPLE OF DAYS DOING FIELD WORK IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO KNOW A PERSON. AND I'VE UNDERSTOOD THAT BRUCE IS FULLY DEDICATED TO HIS COMMUNITY IN HAMILTON WHERE IS WELL RECOGNIZED AND BELOVED. IT'S BEEN SO NATURAL TO DISCUSS WITH HIM ABOUT ACADEMIA, EDUCATION, GEOLOGY... IN THE CAR, DURING BREAKFAST, IN THE OUTCROPS... THAT I DECIDED TO CATCH A SUMMARY OF HIS THOUGHTS. HERE THEY ARE.
Bruce has lived in Hamilton (NY) for 38 years, he started as Associated Professor at Colgate University. In 2012 is dean of the faculty for the second time.
