He is a science broadcaster and environmental activist. Suzuki earned a Ph.D in zoology from the University of Chicago. Suzuki is known as host of the popular and long-running CBC Television science magazine, The Nature of Things. Suzuki has received more than 25 honorary degrees from universities around the world.

  • Nick has just been awarded the 2012 Geosciences in the Media Award from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. He was on the road with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for seven months in 2009-10 as host of the television documentary series Geologic Journey. Nick has authored more than 150 publications in leading scientific journals on ice age geology and environmental geology and has worked with the International Ocean Drilling Program. Ph.D at East Anglia.
