Paul has authored or co-authored a total of seven books and 134 articles and maps and received other recognitions, including the Pettijohn Award from the Society for Sedimentary Geology for Excellence in Sedimentology. In his career he has been balanced between applied and theoretical geology. Now is Emeritus professor at the University of Cincinnati. PhD at the University of Chicago.

  • THAT WAS MY ONLY CHANCE TO MEET PAUL AND I WENT TO THE WRONG MARRIOT HOTEL. I RUN IN THE TEXAN HOT TO FIND THE OTHER HOTEL I PARK ON A CURB. NOTHING. THAT MORNING PAUL FORGOT TO COME TO THE APPOINTMENT. THEN I MET HIM AT THE CONFERENCE AND HE SKIPPED THE COFFE BREAK TO TALK WITH US.
